Obama Email Virus Alert

While I remain completely and utterly politically neutral (since I concentrate on other priorities here), I have to pass along this email alert to anyone who has ever used their email address politically; in any way, shape, or form.
Great Britain’s Guardian seems to be the one who broke this story today, judging by the posting dates. There is reportedly an email making the rounds from sender “obamasex@obama.com” with the subject line “Barack Obama sex story with a girl” and which holds within it a Trojan horse. The message claims that Obama “in 2007 was travel to Ukraine and have sex action with many Ukrainian girls.”
Ohhh…kay.
It continues: “You may view this private porno in a flash video. Download and view now. Please send this news to your friends. Obama it’s not right choice…”
Except that when you click on the link provided, it shows seemingly-random amateur porn, while it installs malware on your computer. Which will try to steal your credit card and bank account details. So be forewarned.
The alert on this email was reportedly put out by the company WebSense, although as of this writing a search of their website reveals nothing but an outdated report, so at this point there is no way to easily verify such details.
So, while I really don’t care which candidate you support in the upcoming election, I am putting this information out there as a public service, and would have done exactly the same thing if the name on this malware attack was “John McCain.” I feel it is necessary to spread the word, whenever any hacker attacks.

Barack Obama fake sex video spam contains spy software
A spam email claiming to link to a fake Barack Obama sex video actually contains malicious spying software, experts have warned.Web users who receive the email should not click on the “Download and view now” link, or a type of virus known as a Trojan will be installed on their machine.
The spam, versions of which have been sent from the email address obamasex@obama.com and have the subject line “Barack Obama sex story with a girl”, was identified this week by internet security firm WebSense.
The email, written in broken English, tempts readers with the untrue claim that the Democratic presidential candidate “in 2007 was travel to Ukraine and have sex action with many Ukrainian girls.
“You may view this private porno in a flash video. Download and view now,” it says.
“Please send this news to your friends. Obama it.s not right choice…”
Clicking on the link plays a short snippet of an unrelated pornographic video, during which time malicious software is installed on the user’s machine. This code, known as malware, scans the computer for data which it sends to an external site.
Spammers are increasingly using celebrities’ names – frequently with a sexual twist – to tempt people into opening unsolicited email.
Research revealed that around 2.28 per cent of all emails sent in July contained the name of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie somewhere in the subject field.

Social engineering to get people to install a virus is nothing new and it seems obvious that the campaign season would spams some attacks, but this is not really a partisan ploy. The story had to involve Obama because no one would believe a story about John McCain having sex unless it was an advertisement for Viagra.
We all know McCain doesn’t visits the Caucuses for sex; he goes to hobnob with hollywood stars and convicted con men who are friends of his campaign chief/lobbyist.

Yeah, it’s not too surprising that this sort of thing would pop up on the campaign trail. I am not suggesting any sort of conspiracy theory here, just that malicious hackers are trying to ride Obama’s name-recognition coattails. Which is why I felt it necessary to warn the public.

congratulations it has been a long time coming but a change has been made, if you look at history from the tree that was cut down and then whittled into the shape of a torch, all the things that went into making it a torch, the people ho before you had the same ideals it lead to you, many have tried but their path wqasn’t chosen yours was, thank you for being who you are, I lived to see this dayand I am proud, not because of my race but because of a unity of the world, someone saw a dream and now you are living it god bless you
