Gambling Bots
The cardinal rule of gambling is that the house always wins. Nowhere is that rule more true than in online poker rooms, where the house take a piece of everyone’s action. According to an industry research firm, GBGC, poker revenue (fees charged for each poker hand played, or “rake”) was over US 3 Billion in 2007, or roughly 22% of the $15 Billion online gambling market, with Europe enjoying 34% of the global poker market.
While the house may win every time, bot masters can stack the odds by playing multiple hands in the same room using proxies and gambling bots to gain an unfair advantage.
